Ch 26 - A day at work

AJ heads back to work at Second Amendment to shore up some trade deals and get his business back on track. He is more focused than ever. He has been working on the phone working out different trade alliances with different partners around the globe. He has been overseeing the rebuilding of Neo Dixie's urban infrastructure. Southern Gangland territories are slowly taken over and subjugated to martial law to facilitate the extensive rebuilding process. He has never trusted anyone with the majors deals. There are way too many snakes slinking throughout. A betrayals are the order of the day

Zoey: Dad!! There you are. Where have you been?

AJ: Hey there!! Your dad is little bit busy now. What do you need?? Go ahead I'm listening.

Zoey is taken aback by her father's unusual bluntness. She was half expecting some kind of smart funny remark, a childish prank or something perverted about some woman in the workplace. However the man called her father is laser focus. Maybe it's because of all the sexual training that AJ seems to be having. He is slowly being weaned off of letting his dick control his actions. His head is less foggy and he's been using this time to catch up on work.

AJ: Do I have any meetings schedule for today? Just put them on my calendar.

Zoey: Dad?? Are you alright? You seem laser focused.

AJ: Just catching up with work sweetie. I need to make sure these deals are finalized. We'll speak again soon.

Zoey: Is that it?? You are not going to say anything else like how the past few days have been going since you've been gone.

AJ: Maybe some other time sweetie. I shouldn't distract you from your work.

Zoey: Well alright father. Maybe we'll catch up this weekend.

AJ: Tomorrow.

Zoey: Tomorrow? Oh, Well alright then. Don't forget about me??

As Zoey begins to leave. Mathilde bursts into the room with some delicious treats. She nearly misses her older sister by an inch as the door flies open.

Mathilde: Oh HIIIIIII!!! Big Sis!! (her usual bubbly self)

(Zoey is half expecting an apology from Mathilde but the airhead has other concerns when looking at her older sister)

Mathilde: Here.

Zoey: What is this?

Mathilde: Food. Good Food. You are way too fragile and you are not eating healthy. A great helping of whole grain rice with chicken broth, bake chicken, Smoked Southern-Style Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey. Smoked Brisket and ribs, mac and cheese with sweet ricotta, cottage cheese, Sour cream and cheese sauce, Grilled Chicken with crunchy mash potatoes. You're eating too much junk food.

Zoey: Sweet mother of heaven, Hildy!! I can't eat all of this. I am going to be big as an elephant

Mathilde: This is not that much!!! Daddy can eat a lot more than this.

Zoey: "Daddy" is very big man with a big appetite.

Mathilde: Well share it with your slave Alex

Zoey: (Sighs) He's not my slave. He's my boyfriend.

AJ is busy while the two sisters bicker about Mathilde's food. AJ takes his lunch from Mathilde and takes a break while he gorges on his daughter's delicious homemade meal. He also seems preoccupied by their playful bickering.

Mathilde: When are you coming home?? You're always so busy with work. Don't you miss us?

Zoey: Of course I do sweetheart. I promise I will visit you soon. Now come. Let's eat your delicious meal together. I would be able to finished this all by myself. Maybe we can share it with Alex. He's always eating junk food.
